WordPress Theme

  I am looking to upload a theme file, yet I don’t see the option to upload any files.. Do I need to purchase a WordPress upgrade to change the theme of my blog? Or what should I do?

  Currently, this blog is hosted through WordPress. Does it need to have its own domain and hosting for me to be able to customize this blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The only themes you can use on a free hosted WordPress.com blog are those found here > Appearance > Themes and showcased here > http://wordpress.com/themes/

  You cannot import a theme and use it on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. We do not have FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we not able to upload any third party themes.

  There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes anything at all stated clearly here > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you want to use any third party theme or build your own theme then don’t waste any time here at all. Purchase web hosting http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install. http://wordpress.org/ Then move your .wordpress.com blog content into it http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/

  No. See the links below to purchase an annually renewable custom design upgrade and do the required CSS editing.

  Thank you for your answers. I appreciate the help! I want to be able to upload the custom design, so my best bet is to purchase web hosting.. Correct?

  It’s not your best bet – it’s your only remaining WordPress choice because you cannot do that here.
