WordPress theme not activating properly

    I am trying to Load a WordPress theme, it’s a free theme from the wp menu I have tried about 6 themes and none of them loaded properly. They activate from the dashboard side but at the front end it loads as a sample page with no pictures and no menus. I have 2 URLs with wordpress installed and both urls are doing the same thing. I have contact my host provider Hostgator they were really helpful and we spent about an hour but couldn’t find the problem I was advised to go to wordpress can anybody help me please.

    Your site giftscout.site is using the self-hosted version of WordPress with Hostgator, and you need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums:
