WordPress Theme Not Loading

  Hello, I am attempting to use the Otis theme. When I activate, I get the error message ‘Template part has been deleted or is unavailable: header’. This occurs for the footer as well. Additionally, other components of the page are missing.

  Self-declared URL: NA
  Jetpack: Unknown
  WP.com: Unknown

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

  I tried switching themes temporarily and even recreated the site however no luck.

  It looks like the template parts can be edited here:

  • Header: https://housemanshane4.wordpress.com/wp-admin/site-editor.php?path=%2Fpatterns&categoryType=wp_template_part&categoryId=header
  • Footer: https://housemanshane4.wordpress.com/wp-admin/site-editor.php?path=%2Fpatterns&categoryType=wp_template_part&categoryId=footer

  When I take a look at your Page template, it looks like an older header/footer are currently in place.

  The defunct parts can be removed. The correct header, can be added in the editor as per these steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/template-part-block/#add-a-template-part-to-your-site

  Thank you, Adam! I appreciate your guidance. I ended up having to copy blocks and remake them. That appeared to help.

  I write and I would like to get my work out there as a part of my career!
