    WordPress tip: Put your picture next to your comments and posts, upload an avatar.

    This has been appearing in my Dashboard since yesterday. I have an avatar, it’s displayed on my blog and here.

    Why does the message appear?

    I don’t know the answer to your question. I do know that the statement incorrectly states that your picture will be next to your posts and this is not correct. Avatars do not appear on posts. They only appear on comments on your own blog or another wordpress.com blog and only when you are logged in, to wordpress.com
