WordPress to Facebook via Jetpack – Error occurred while connecting the account

  Hello,

  I had Facebook connected to WordPress with Jetpack to share my posts. It was working fine initially but then stopped posting. I went through the steps of removing the integration in Facebook and reconnecting in WordPress.com but after it confirms the connection has been successful I then get the message ‘error occurred while connecting the account’.

  I have deactivated and reactivated Jetpack and cleared my cache but it will still not connect. Do you know why this may be and how I can reconnect this?
