WordPress to Tumblr Sharing during post publishing losing formatting

  I’m attempting to have a poem push from my blog to tumblr, while maintaining formatting on tumblr (meaning line breaks between stanzas, and single spacing). Currently, the share function will send the posts to tumblr, and I manually have to edit the tumblr posts to insert the
  tags in order to regain the single spacing and double spacing between lines and stanzas.

  The share to Facebook function doesn’t share this issue, and putting the tags into the HTML of the individual posts within WordPress resulted in the WordPress post gaining double spacing across the board, instead of keeping the same formatting. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

  Example: WordPress

  This would be a poem,
  With two separate lines,

  And two separate stanzas.

  Tumblr:

  This would be a poem, With two separate lines, And two separate stanzas.

  Correction: Facebook is showing the same issue as Tumblr with regards to losing formatting.

  Hi jrkovacs,

  Are you attempting to share the post via Publicize (the post is automatically shared when published) or are you clicking a sharing button at the bottom of the post?

  Could you please also send a link to the post so we can help you troubleshoot?
