WordPress Troubleshoot
-
Hi there, I need help with my WordPress because every time I click on installed plugins and permalinks, it goes straight to my website. Also when I try to install the plugin detective it does not list it for me, I did download the file and finally installed but now I can’t activate it because when I click on installed plugins it goes straight to my website on and on again.
What can I do to fix this issue, please?

Thanks for the list. I see you have a redirection plugin installed, and thanks for the test of disabling all browser extensions.
Can you go to Preferences > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data, and make sure you are not set to block third-party cookies, and make sure it is also set to allow all cookies? Screenshot: https://d.pr/i/998WmS
If you have another browser installed on your computer, can you log in from that browser and see if you experience the same issue?
The last suggestion would be to log out of WordPress.com, clear the Chrome cache and cookies, restart your computer and modem/router and then test again.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.

The problem seems to be solved now without turn off the browser extensions. Thank you so much for trying to help.
