  Hello, I have a question, why WordPress has been automatically updated to WordPress 5.4.2.?
  Is every update of WordPress automatic?

  Hi there, here on WPcom our sites are automatically updated several times a day.

  But it sounds like you are referring to a site that is using the open source WP software on 3rd party hosting.

  If that’s the case, head on over to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.
