WordPress update issue with login and website images
-
I updated to the new WordPress version this morning. This has caused issues with my website images and formatting, and I also can no longer access my WordPress account.
I have had a chat with the WordPress bot that has advised me the following:
“Your site doesn’t have plugin access enabled, which is why you can’t see the Plugins menu or manage Jetpack directly. Since Jetpack is disconnected and you can’t access the plugin management, you’ll need our support team to reconnect it for you. This is a technical issue that requires backend access.”
However, I can’t add a paid plan as I can’t access my account!
Does anyone have any advice?
Thank you for your help. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It seems you are talking about a self-hosted site using the open source wordpress.org. Therefore you must head over to https://wordpress.org/ to get help.

My site is hosted via wordpress.com, and so I think I’m in the right place?
My website is apriltranslates.co.uk. I think there is an issue with the link shown in my question above.

However, I can’t add a paid plan as I can’t access my account! You are logged into a WordPress.com account and that reply assumes you are talking about your free site here (that isn’t even launched yet). Follow @staartmees reply (rather than the spammer) and create an account at wordpress.org support forum. Looking at a Whois I see your site isn’t hosted here and if it was you wouldn’t have needed to update things yourself. Perhaps you should consider moving your site here?
