WordPress Updates

  I get repeated messages that my update failed. I logged into the WordPress site and see many updated and plugins waiting to be applied. I am a middle man. My Florida condo association owned the site and a resident updates the site. I coordinate between management and the site creator. How do I get the updates applied? Can we do it ourselves, or do we need to hire a service?
