WordPress updates and WooCommerce

  I went to update all of my wordpress plugins including wordpress itself. All of my plugins updated without problems, however wordpress itself did not update successfully. My dashboard says, ‘An automated WordPress update has failed to complete – please attempt the update again now.’ along with, ‘WordPress 4.5.1 is available! Please update now.’ but neither will work. Another question which may be unrelated to this forum is when I updated my WooCommerce plugin, my products that I have set as subscriptions through Braintree now show in ‘my cart’ & ‘checkout’ as their initial price/month. EX: Product price is 200$ with 5$ monthly fee, the cart and checkout pages say 200$/month. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
