WordPress Updates – Oops page not found always comes up

  Hello,

  I have a blog that I am trying to work on more lately and there have been a lot of updates needing to be done. I frustratingly find that after I click the update button I usually get the ‘Oops page not found’ or page under brief maintenance where then I have to wait. I talked to my host Dreamhost and I deleted the maintenance page in the FTP files. The issue still comes up just not as regularly. My site also takes quite a while to load up where in the past i never had that issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  emploom.com is a is a wordpress.ORG software install on paid hosting, hosted by Dreamhost, not by wordpress.com.

  You are posting to the wrong support forum. That site is not on wordpress.COM servers. We cannot help you here at all.

  This is wordpress.com support. We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
  (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
  (2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.

  Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.com/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.
