WordPress Upgrade

  I thought I understood that no matter what upgrade I choose for a WordPress upgrade that I still wouldn’t have additional widget and plugins features.

  What I’m looking to do is offer a Christmas series and have it open up like book when readers open up WordPress. I’m also looking to add a PayPal account button on my website. What I don’t know is, if I upgrade, will I be able to do all this? Will I have access to additional plugins and widgets?
