WordPress upgrading

  I have created a free wordpress account. I’m thinking of upgrading. My question is. We assume that I pay for one year. Then because I see that I have no particular benefit I decide not to pay another year. What will happen the account? Will it return to ‘free’ mode or not? Can I use it as it is now or will I be committed in some way?

  Upgrades auto renew after approx 11 months. You can disable this feature. Your free site will still be available if you don’t renew a plan but you may lose some features/theme depending how you customized your site.
