Hi, Lynnea Benson here. I’m the Executive Director of The Frog & Peach Theatre Co., Inc. Our Network Solutions site was a mess, so a member of our board enlisted Catherine D to help. Catherine used her WordPress acct to make short term improvements to the site until we could do a proper ground-up relaunch. Now in order to do that we need some info from Catherine about the WordPress site, so we can access data from the old website. Unfortunately, Catherine is nowhere to be found–the domain transfer has already taken place. Can someone there please help us?

Hi there, The domain Frogandpeachtheatre.org is registered at Tucows and is currently hosted at Squarespace, not here at WordPressdotcom.
The WordPressdotcom site you linked to at frogandpeachtheatre.wordpress.com appears to have been registered only yesterday (by you?) and is empty of any user generated content.
To make a long story short, it doesn’t seem like we’ll be able to help you here, as these are the technical support forums for sites hosted on WordPressdotcom.

I’m sorry if I didn’t explain this clearly. Somewhere there is a WordPress url that replicates our old Network Solutions site. We need to find it in order to transfer it to our new Squarespace site. Catherine is the only person who knows the WordPress url, and she seems unable to let us know how to access it, despite many attempts to contact her.
Had I known that this information was necessary to re-establish our new site, I would not have transferred the domain from Network Solutions to SquareSpace. But I didn’t, and now our patrons have no site to visit us, view our large archive of photos and reviews, and no way to donate.
Again, apologies for my limitations in these matters. Websites are not my field of expertise.If there is someone at your organization who can help me track down the url Catherine set up, I’d be very grateful. I have her email address and phone number if that is helpful in the search.

Hello again. I did understand your explanation if not what you mean by “WordPress url.” WordPress is software that powers millions of websites with dozens if not hundreds of web hosting providers.
I’m looking at a cached version of your above domain from February 2017 on archive.org at https://web.archive.org/web/*/Frogandpeachtheatre.org and at the bottom right corner there is a mention of a web hosting provider (DFXden). Perhaps you can search for and contact them directly.
That’s really the only thing I can think to suggest. Perhaps another forum volunteer has a different suggestion.

Sorry. That is my fault. That is the main domain name I use. What I am looking for is the built-in domain for my site. I thought this was frogandpeach.wordpress.com, but I cannot seem to access the admin panel for that…

Hello again, the site frogandpeach.wordpress.com was registered in 2007 by the user account frogandpeach, but the site has no content.
If that is you and you have access to the email account used to register the site, you can try a password reset. Otherwise the only option is to try the account recovery process https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/
