WordPress users issue

I am not sure if I am doing this correctly but I have set up a second user on my wordpress site. I want this user to have access to the sites analytics and woo commerce shop. However, no matter what user role I give them, If it is not administrator, they will not have access to any part of the site. I am confused and need help. I have alternated through all the roles but nothing is changed.
