WordPress v. my own site
-
I am kind of new to this, meaning I just started today so this may be a question with an obvious answer. Stating that, I am trying to activate Nishita theme on my blog on my site (markandrewwilson.com/blog). I somehow have a wordpress account/blog where it is active. I don’t plan to use that as my host since I want it as part of my site. For some reason, the theme is not available or searchable from my dashboard from wordpress on my site. Is there something I am missing?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That address gives me a “file not found” error.

Maybe it’s because it’s a self-hosted WordPress install and Nishita needs to be installed there first (whereas it’s one of the many available themes for WordPress.com users already)?
Before going any further, I suggest you familiarize yourself with the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org (the self-hosted version).

Try this. It needs to be caped. I will look at the difference. Thanks!

Thank you. That is a self-hosted WordPress blog indeed. To get assistance for that particular blog (for example to install Nishita), please go to http://wordpress.org/support
