WordPress v. Shopify

I am interested in potentially switching to the wordpress platform from iweb. I am currently using a 30-day shopify trial, and was also hoping to do something similar for the wordpress Pro to make my decision. Please let me know if there is a free trial available and how to go about beginning the trial.

Our free hosted WordPress.com blogs cannot be equipped with shopping carts for ecommerce transactions. On free hosted WordPress.com blog we can use a contact form and/or a PayPal donation button for the sale of only products or services created or provided by ourselves.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/There is no upgrade you can purchase form WordPress.com that changes what I posted above. However, there are no eCommerce restrictions if you hire a web host and set up your own self hosted WordPress.org install. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
