  i have looked all over and cant figure out what version I am using. Nor do i have the option to update my version. How did i locate this information?

  WordPress “versions” really only apply to self-hosted sites using the free WordPress software available at WordPress.org. There are no versions of WordPress.com because we are continually upgrading and improving things. There are no large scale “version releases” as there with the WordPress.org software.

  Does that make sense?
