  I’ve bought a wordpress version 3.4.1 with http://www.register.it.
  it’s possible that it’s prevous than this free on line version???????

  Why would you ever pay for WordPress software? Whether you use WordPress.com as your host or just use software from WordPress.ORG, it’s free. What costs money is hosting.

  I installed WordPress on 25 August and since then I have been trying to find out what version I am using. The dashboard shows the theme but no trace of the version. I have tried other ways but all to no avail. Nowhere to be seen. Frustrated.

  I installed WordPress on 25 August

  If you really installed it you should be asking over at WordPress.ORG

  If you are asking about http://elartedeapperley.wordpress.com/ – then the version number does not matter as the staff upgrades the software for you and you are running a version that is slightly ahead of the WordPress.ORG stable release

  Many thanks auxclass! No wonder I couldn’t see the version on my dashboard, my blog is hosted by WordPress…should have known better before posting.
