WordPress version

    How do I find what version of wordpress I am running? I have checked the source code, no where in the blog or admin has it written on. Where else do I look? I want to be able to add Google Analytics to my blog and can only see two ways to do this, add a plugin which I need to know what version WP I have and the second option is to paste the analytics code into ‘footer.php’ which I also can find.

    You cannot add plugins or use Google Analytics on a WordPress.com site . . . See en.support.wordpress.com/stats/#additional-info
