WordPress Version and changing front size in free themes

I’m trying to find out which WP version I have…I know it’s old – I set it about 10 years ago and am only now getting back to it, but I can’t find what it is or how to update the existing version to a later one.
I also need to find out why I can’t change font size in the free version or is that only possibe if I pay for a theme?

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Jenny,

No worries, The updates for sites hosted on WordPress.com are managed by the WordPress team.

For changing the font size, you need to visit the post page and click on the post body. If the pop-up menu shows an option to convert to block, just convert it to a block and now you can see the block section in the right panel and change font size in typography.

    Also, refer to

Thanks for the help. I believe I have sorted myself out now…at least where font sizing is concerned.
