WordPress version currently used
-
Hello, I’m trying to determine the version of WP I’m currently using. One solution in the WP Forums suggested to scroll to the bottom of the Admin panel, and the version should be listed there, but I see nothing.
I’m using the Quintus theme.
Thanks for any help!

Howdy,
At WordPress.com, you’re always running the latest and greatest. :) We handle all updates for you!
What exactly are you trying to do? Maybe I can help!

Thanks! So basically I wanted to put a copyright notice on my stuff.
I looked in the help forums and they mentioned the footer.php file, but I don’t see any of that. I’m using Quintus. In fact, I don’t see any php files, but I’m a total novice. Any help would be great.
Cheers,

Hi Matt,
It’s not possible to edit any php files on WordPress.com sites because we have millions of sites on shared hosting and this would be a security risk. However you can still add your own Copyright information. The easiest way to do it is to add a Text Widget to your right sidebar and type it directly into that.
Open the Customizer:
https://babelbricks.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php
Select Widgets > Sidebar1 > Text Widget. Then type in your Copyright information.
There’s more info about the Text Widget here:
