WordPress Visitors and View Counts Are Incorrect

  Your new implementation of Visitors vs Views seems incorrect. As an example see the stats for my blog FixturesCloseUp.com for December 21, 2012.

  Visitors are listed as 225 with Views of 717. But Referrers lists a total of 319 referred from various sources including 241 from Search Engines alone. I know of no website where Visitors are less than referrals from search engines. And since I have hundreds of Twitter and RSS feed followers, a proportion of whom would also visit on any given day the total of Visitors again should be more than Referrers alone. Other days stats are similar in discrepancy.

  I suggest to you, the new WordPress counting algorithms are incorrect.
