wordpress vs. edublogs

  I have both wordpress account/site and an edublogs account/site. I originally created a site with wordpress, but then switched to edublogs so it would be available to students due tot the filters our school applies. I use the Jet Pack plugin on my edublogs site, rennerreads.edublogs.org, which I enabled through my wordpress account.

  My question is: how are the wordpress and edublog accounts connected, and will deleting my site on wordpress affect my site on edublog?
