WordPress website created – Is it being indexed by the search engines

  Hi,

  We have had a new webiste developed using WordPress by using one of the themes. The site is here: http://virtualpso.com

  We have published it to the main search engines but it is still not showing up. Though I am not a technical expert (I didn’t build the site), I do know it takes a little while for the search engines to come to the site and index but it has been a week now and it is not showing up on any.

  I would be grateful if somebody could tell me how we can check whether our site is correctly setup for the search engines. I know about the robots.txt which we have opened up in the admin panel. Is there anything else we need to do, or is it simply a case of we need to wait and see.

  That is not a wordpress.com blog. You need http://wordpress.org/support.
