WordPress website for a bussines with non-wp hosting

    I’m thinking of getting a relatively cheap hosting service plan from my country for my website. But what I have a problem understanding is, is what are the ways for my website to lose any WordPress associations for example the watermark at the bottom of the website? Is the only way, to purchase the business plan, or if I’m using other hosting services will the wp watermark, and other associations disappear automatically?

    There’s some confusion here about using WordPress.com versus the WordPress installation.

    On WordPress.com, regardless of plan, you do not need to carry an additional host. We take care of that for you. The branding will not disappear automatically, as you’d need to adjust the settings on the site.

    When using the WordPress installation you will need to provide a host for the site.
