  I get emails saying to upgrade when i already have paid $209 for a site.

  Hi there,

  For what site have you paid? The account you’re using to post here only owns the free site, http://selphotographyorg.wordpress.com/, and has never bought anything from us.

  And can you give more detail on the emails you’re receiving? Specifically, what is the subject line, what is the FROM email address, and at which email address are you receiving them?

  The site I have a receipt is: Ultimate Managed WordPress Websites for $209.00. The email is from WordPress.com. The subject line is, Subject: Our best tips for getting more people to your site. I am receiving them at: (email visible only to moderators and staff). I am somewhat confused at this point as to what is going on. I appreciate any help you can give me! The email to me is signed: Cheers, Anne F. WordPress.com. I have replied to her but have not received a return email.

  Thanks for that information. That email you received from Anne should also include the site URL that is involved. Can you share that information with us?

  Are you sure you don’t really mean selphotography.org ? That site isn’t hosted here at WordPress.com. It was registered with GoDaddy two days ago.
  https://selphotographyorg.wordpress.com/ is a totally different site at a different place. You don’t need that site or need to upgrade it if you’re building a site at GoDaddy that you’ve already paid for.

  My site selphotography.org is parked at wordpress site. How I am working on a site that has as an address of selphotographyorg, I don’t know. How do I get to the parked site and get my site work to date transferred over? Still confused, thanks for your help.

  http://selphotography.org is a domain registered and parked with GoDaddy, not us.

  https://selphotographyorg.wordpress.com/ is a site here that belongs to the account you’re currently logged in to.

  To get https://selphotographyorg.wordpress.com/ to appear under selphotography.org instead, follow this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  I still don’t think you need an upgraded plan here at WordPress.com when you say you’ve already paid GoDaddy for a plan and custom domain. Perhaps you should be approaching them for further advice.
