WordPress website issues
-
Hi,
My widgets at the bottom-bar are not visible other than the home page.
My block (Facebook embed) is not getting centre-aligned.
It happened today (June 1st, 2020), most likely due to the site-update.
Please look into this. -

Hi there!
Are you talking about bandhangoyal.wordpress.com? I can see the widgets in the footer across your whole site, are you still experiencing this?
If so, please share a screenshot of what you see on your end. You can use an online tool for that (such as https://snipboard.io/), or follow the instructions described here:
https://wordpress.com/support/make-a-screenshot/. -
Hi,
Yes, I’m still facing the problem in bandhangoyal.wordpress.com.
Here is the screenshot of the “News” section: https://snipboard.io/wLXSjB.jpg
As seen, the bottom-bar is not visible.
“About” section: https://snipboard.io/FOvmWM.jpg
A similar issue is there in the “Forum” and “Contact” section. -
Hi @bandhangoyal, the news section is a static page; it might not have the same widgets as blog pages, but we can look into it.
Given that you want to display articles by date and what not there, would you like to just categorize certain blog posts as news and have them appear there?

Hi, my website theme has centralised widgets, i.e. the bottom-bar contains three footers on all the pages (irrespective of static/blog).
The issue occurs only when the site is opened on the desktop. It works perfectly well when opened on the phone. -
This looks like a bug with the theme. We’ve reported it to our theme developers to look at, but as this is an older theme I can’t guarantee that it will be fixed.

Hi,
Now in the “News” section, all the Facebook embeds and image upload previews have vanished.
Please look into this.
Thanks. -

At https://bandhangoyal.wordpress.com/news/ they all seem to be just fine.
First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/
If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.
If it is, please do these two things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.
2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.
