WordPress website not working with Domain Name

    Hi,

    I have installed a wordpress website in ” /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/scm” and this apache is running on port 8080 in a server (172.16.2.132).

    I have a local domain “mydomain.com” which is pointing to 172.16.2.132:8080/wordpress.

    When I browse “mydomain.com” it is showing
    “Environment not found”. But mydomain.com/wp-admin is working.

    In the settings page “WordPress Address (URL)” and “Site Address (URL)” are http://mydomain.com

    Please guide.

    I’m afraid you’re in the wrong forum. This support forum is only for free WordPress.com blogs. Sounds like you have a self-hosted WordPress.ORG install. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    Also, http://mydomain.com/ is the address of a web registrar. You’re going to need to give the actual domain for anyone on either forum to be able to help you.
