WordPress website redirects automatically to another website
-
I have recently uploaded the full backup of Questhow.com to another domain SaintPauls.education both of these domains are hosted on the same Godaddy server. Both of these websites have same files/content because i actually wanted to clone Questhow.com website but when i visit http://www.SaintPauls.education it redirects to http://www.Questhow.com even though i have not set any redirect.

Hi there,
It looks like you are using WordPress.ORG for your websites(http://www.questhow.com/ and http://www.saintpauls.education/) and it is hosted at GoDaddy. So i am sorry… but you have posted your issue in the wrong forum. This forum only supports the sites hosted on WordPress.COM and not elsewhere.
Both(WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG) are different products. You can find out the differences between them here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
To get help in resolving your issue, post your question on the WordPress.ORG support forum: https://wordpress.org/support/
Although it looks like a domain issue, so i would suggest you to contact the support team of your domain registrar(http://www.saintpauls.education/ is registered via WILD WEST DOMAINS) to check if any redirect has been setup.
Thanks! 🙂

WildWestDomains is WordPressdotcom’s registrar, so I’ve tagged this for Staff attention.

Howdy –
Thanks for the tag justjennifer.
Here’s what I see when I “whois” in terminal.
SaintPauls.education and Questhow.com
This case is a little unique. In general, when you see Wild West Domains as the registrar chances are that the domain is through WordPress.com (especially when someone is asking here with an account) but this case is different.
WWD is GoDaddy’s reseller brand and WordPress.com is just one customer of theirs and these domains aren’t through us.

You’ll need to get in touch with GoDaddy to sort this out. -
