WordPress will no longer connect to Facebook.

  I have two Facebook accounts. One shows I am connected but will not post the blog page on FB.
  The other FB page when I try to connect simply tells me the connection could not be made but offers no reason or solution.
  My blog pages have been appearing on both my FB accounts for at least a year. Suddenly it stopped.
  I have followed instructions on how to reconnect but end up with the same result. Perhaps there is a hidden instruction somewhere which is eluding me.

  Hi Frank,

  Have you tried clearing your browser cache and WordPress.com cookies?

  No worries!

  Just click on the link in my last post, that will open the support doc that shows how to do this.

  Its really easy, and it sorts out a lot of issues:)

  Thanks cobalteye. Did that, cleared the cache for 4 weeks. No change except I had to re-log into facebook. One FB account shows I am connected but I am not and the other FB account will not connect.

  Just a follow up to my last responce. I took the instructions to clear the cache and cookies quite literally. IE to clear WordPress.com cache and cookies. I note there are other WordPress.com cahe information and cookies related to my blog posts. Should they also be removed? I only went back as far as 4 weeks.

  I think removing all of them is what’s recommended.

  Thanks again. I actually copied and pasted the link then went and removed all the cookies. The post then appeared twice so it is probably working. However WP still will not link the second FB account.

  Hey!

  I would suggest disconnecting your second FB account from WordPress, and then reconnecting that account by following the video tutorial on this page.

  My guess is that WordPress prioritised on account over another? – Maybe!

  Thanks for your help and guidance.
  I will not be 100% convinced that at least one of my blogs is linked until my next post due Sunday night. Fingers crossed.
  On the issue of the 2nd FB account I cannot seem to delete it to re-connect. My alternative is when I post there is another sharing button on the bottom of the post. I can select to Publicise to a “Friends FB Account”. The bad thing is I have to remember to do that manually every time I post. Its a bit of a bummer but at least I can get my blog out there via FB which is the way it has been for a long time.
