WordPress will not let me post

I’ve posted successfully for years. Suddenly WP will not accept posts from me.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Can you expand on “will not accept posts”? You have a contributor role on that site, so you should be able to create new draft posts. But only someone with an admin or editor role on the site can publish posts that you create.
If you don’t think you should have a contributor role, please contact the admin who added you to the site directly for help, as only they can change your permissions.

I should have been more explicit. I can see that I am logged in to my usual site. When I try to comment on a post, WordPress shows me logged in and my gravatar photo appears. So I write my reply, then click on the submit button. Suddenly I am whisked back to the lead post for the day’s discussion, and the comment is not published. No error code, either.

Thanks for clarifying, that helps a lot. I’ve checked the comments area on trailbaboon.com and a number of your recent comments have been filtered to spam — so that would explain why they are not being displayed.
Please contact one of the site Administrators and ask if they can approve the comments (which will move them out of spam). They can do this from My Sites > Site > Comments > Spam — come back to us if you have any more trouble afterwards.
And now it has just happened to me as I tried to reply to your comment.
Your last 2 replies in this thread had been filtered to spam, so that’s why they didn’t appear. I’ve moved them out of the spam folder now though :)

Do you mean you stay on the same post after the comment has been submitted? Or are you redirected to another area of the site?

Thanks for the help. When I try to comment, after I hit the submit box I am returned to the top of that post. My comment disappears. I’m not sure of the technical language here. I am moved back to the top of that day’s post.
The question I have is why am I suddenly caught up in a spam filter. I have submitted several hundred comments over the years. This has never happened before.

Hummm, I haven’t been able to replicate this on the Twenty Fourteen theme. Could you try leaving another comment once the others have been approved/unspammed, to see if the same still happens afterwards?
If it does, it would be great if you could let me know your operating system and browser version numbers — they can be found by visiting supportdetails.com.
The question I have is why am I suddenly caught up in a spam filter.
It could be that one comment was filtered to spam and because it wasn’t unspammed, that trained the filter to think your other comments were also spam. Let’s start with the steps I mentioned above and if subsequent comments are still being marked as spam, we can investigate further.
