WordPress Won't Import My Full XML File

I’m importing an XML that was downloaded from an old site that I wrote for through WordPress (elitish.com), and trying to put it on my new wordpress (goodsmith.wordpress.com). Unfortunately, while the XML file appears to have every post I’ve put in there, the site only is showing 27 posts, through February of 2009 (needless to say, this is only about 25-40% of the actual posts that I’m trying to transfer over). Any help would be great…

3.0.1 sounds right- someone else is the one running that blog, he just sent me the XML data of my own articles for it since he’s closing down the site. He told me he was running it through Lunarpages if that helps?

Would you mind updating to the latest release? That should correct the problem with the export file.

The guy who runs elitish said he did some “PHP update” and tried to update through wordpress, and it said it failed. Any suggestions to help?
