  Helping me create one? I don’t care for the name at the moment I just need to create one for a school assignment and I would like to have it as soon as possible. Thanks.

  Just skip any upgraded features (like a custom domain) during signup.

  Or for the free software itself, if you have your own hosting provider and don’t need our maintenance and support services, you can also install your own free copy of WordPress with a different host. We have a quick page about the differences here: https://get.wp.com
