WordPress won't let me register my domain name elsewhere?
-
I paid for a plan through wordpress to get my own .com domain, and as I am new to all of this, I did not know that cancelling it would mean that it would be unavailable everywhere else.
The name I was using was for my mothers website and now I’m worried I wont get it back. How do I go about getting the domain name back? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @argylebusinesscentre, domain registrations are internet-wide. While you can cancel and wait for the domain to be released, that can take quite a while depending on how “old” the domain is and whether it’s in demand.
So your better option is to un-cancel (if possible) and point the domain to another provider until you can transfer it (60 days after registration.)
It looks like you’ve had a domain restored to your account, but if you’re referring to another domain, please let us know what it is, and we’ll get it back if we can.
