WordPress won’t open on home laptop

  I can’t get WordPress pages to load when I’m at home on my laptop, but at my office the pages will load just fine.

  It sounds like you’re dealing with a DNS propagation delay or a local network cache issue, which is a common “hiccup” when you’ve recently updated your site or domain settings. Since the site loads at your office, we know the website itself is live and healthy; however, your home router or Internet Service Provider (ISP) is likely still “remembering” an old version of your site’s address or is temporarily blocking the connection. You can usually kickstart things at home by flushing your DNS cache on your laptop (on Windows, type ipconfig /flushdns in the Command Prompt) or simply by restarting your home router, which forces it to grab the most updated connection data from the web.
