wordpress woocommerce storefront theme

  I have an existing blog with crimson rose theme. After activating woocommerce a seperate link for the store. I uploaded the storefront theme. My plan was to use the store front theme only for my store, but after activating the storefront theme it removed my previous Blog theme on the blog and established the storefront theme for both blog and store. Is this meant to happen? How can rectify this and resolve the issue of keeping the storefront theme only for the store…..
