WordPress > WooCommerce Support Loop

Hi, I require support on the connection between wordpress.com and WooCommerce.com, which are both part of Automattic.
Today I purchased a WooCommerce extension. Now I am unable to access their support desk because it requires email validation of my wordpress.com account. However…
1. I do have an account on wordpress.com, to which I can login just fine.
2. My primary email has been validated.
3. WooCommerce is showing in my Connected Applications.
4. I have logged out and logged in repeatedly to both platforms.
5. I have cleared all caches and even used different browsers, just to be sure.
6. All support links on WooCommerce.com lead back to the email validation request, which in turn takes me to wordpress.com, which sends me back to WooCommerce.com again.
7. Why does the “Resend Email Validation” button link back to WordPress.com login page, instead of resending the email?Judging by the number of threads explaining this exact issue, this is not uncommon, and extremely frustrating.
Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

Hi uniletsoundvision, one option is to use Need Help with My Account > Need Something Else. That shouldn’t require a verification. You can also add your question there.
Also I noticed the email was validated in the past hour. Have you cleared your cache / logged out and in since then?
If so and it’s still not working, please use the method above. I hope this helps!

Hi supernovia,
Thank you for getting back to me. No, I gave up at 18:00 GMT and went to get some food. Three hours of trying to validate an email was enough for me.
However, I have now retried at 20:35 GMT, and yes, thankfully the Support area is now admitting me.
Your help is appreciated, however for future reference it would be great for a user to be able to trigger a resend of the verification email – especially as that is exactly what the button says it does.
I’ll reach out to WooCommerce support tomorrow regarding my plugin issue. Thanks again, and have a great evening.

Oh, PS…
Need Help with My Account > Need Something Else
This did indeed lead me back to requiring a verification. Perhaps someone could check that out, to save others from experiencing the same. Thanks again!
