  Hi, I upgraded to a wordpress premium account and bought akankshasingh04.com, however the website is redirecting back to akankshasingh04.wordpress.com. I would like to use akankshasingh04.com as my primary domain and the wordpress site should redirect to it.

  I have no access to the cpanel of the .com domain and so I’d really appreciate it if you could direct me in what to do.

  Hi there!

  You don’t need access to the cpanel or domain management area to change to your custom domain. You just need to go to Store -> Domains from your site’s dashboard, click the button next to your custom domain and click the “update primary domain” button.

  You may need to clear your browser’s cache to see the change, but that’s all you need to do to use your domain with your WordPress.com site.
