wordpress.com account to comment on blog

  Hi,
  I want to comment on a blog (http://www.filing-jointly.com) and it asks for my wordpress.com username, which I put in. Once I type my username, the form changes it http:”my username”.wordpress.com. Then I get an error message that says that I don’t own that username????

  What do I have to do?

  Hi!

  http://www.filing-jointly.com is a Blogger blog not a WordPress blog.

  You would need to have a Blogger account. Blogger is owned by Google so you could use your Google or Gmail account as well.

  I was afraid of that, but why have wordpress as an option? Oh well, it looks like the blogger knows there are problems and is trying to work something out.
