WordPress.com and Wix

    Hey everyone!
    I’m having a difficult time combining both my WP blog and Wix. Basically, I created a new website for my WP blog on Wix, and I want for my WP blog content to be displayed when visitors click on the [BLOG] menu button on WIX.

    However, I do not want to leave WP. I still want to be able to post to that BLOG link through WP, and I want users to be able to see the WP FOLLOW black bar located at the top of the WIX BLOG page when visitors click on the my url.

    Here is what I am basically getting at:
    1. Have my WIX website seen when WP users enter my blog
    2. Have WP users see the black bar located at the top so that they can still follow me (ex. Collegecandy.com)
    3. Have my WP blog content seen when visitors click on [BLOG] on the new WIX website

    I have tried to redirect the site, but it only allows visitors to see my WIX website. There is no black bar so that they can follow me, and ALL of my blog content gets lost. I really don’t want to start my blog all over, because I love posting through WP. Can someone please help me? I’ve been struggling with this for a month, and no forum has helped me one bit. As of now, my WP blog is a subdomain of that domain, but visitors can’t see the main domain.

    Hi there,

    What you have set up so far is what I recommend to most people in your situation: A link or button on your non-wp site that links back to your WordPress.com blog here.

    Unfortunately, there is not much more to be done that that. Wix is a totally separate platform from WordPress.com, and there is no way to combine their two features in the way that you describe, as they exist on two different systems.

    To get everything integrated like that, you would need to have both your site and your blog here, which is definitely possible, if you would like help with that.
