WordPress.com and WordPress.org

  Hello – Recently I started customizing a blog via wordpress.com, however, I decided later I rather host the blog via wordpress.org. Thus, I created a blog using the wordpress.org process. I have used the same blog title for both ‘NAME-A’. If I delete the wordpress.com version (i.e. NAME-A.wordpress.com), would it impact my wordpress.org (i.e. NAME-A.com)? Please advise. I do not want the wordpress.com presence.

  Canceling the example.wordpress.com domain will not affect your example.com domain.

  Domains are unique, and there can only be one site at any given domain at a time.

  The sites can’t share the same domain, so that’s why it’ll be okay.
