Do I need separate accounts for WordPress.com and WordPress.org? I am trying to offer input on a website based through WordPress.org and it doesn’t recognize my WordPress.com account information.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

WordPress.com allows you to host your WordPress blog on our own service. If you wish to host your site elsewhere (what we call self-hosting), you will be using the free software available at WordPress.org.

For a brief explanation of the differences, please see:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

For the purposes of creating your hosting account and using WordPress itself, there is no need to have a WordPress.com account, unless you are using one of our services for self-hosted blogs like Akismet or Jetpack.

When you have a self-hosted site, your log in credentials will not be the same as what you use on WordPress.com, as you will be creating a log in to your own site separate from us.
