http://lesliesokc.com/ is a WordPress.com blog, so that’s one down.
To get a WordPress.org blog you find a blog host, pay for hosting, install software from WordPress.org, buy a domain name for it, and start blogging.
You cannot have one blog in two places, using two different kinds of software. One blog cannot be BOTH WP.com and WP.org.

I want the same name that I have for my blog. I’m realizing .org offers more plugins but I just want the same url so just do a redirect??

Buy your hosting then change the name servers for lesliesokc.com. – cost you nothing extra – if you had a lot of traffic and bookmarks for the blog name that the lesliesokc.com. was mapped to – then buy the redirect for the base blog name not lesliesokc.com.
Don’t delete the old WordPress.COM blog – then your options are limited – once the move is made you can set the old blog to Private or you can delete the CONTENTS not the old WordPress.COM blog and leave a note and a link that you have moved
