‘wordpress.com’ as a referrer, could it be more specific?

  I’m just curious if it’s possible to get a more specific referral from wordpress.com. Right now it’s my #1 referrer, and for all I know I could be featured on the main page and not know it. I really have no way of knowing. Since they’re my biggest singular contributor to traffic, I’d think breaking it down per-article, or per-url referrals. Does this make sense, or has it been discussed already?

  You can always check by going to http://wordpress.com. Refresh the page a few times, because it does change. If they’re your #1 referrer, that’s probably what’s going on.

  Other “wordpress.com” referrals can be from the Latest Posts on people’s dashboard and we THINK but are not SURE, from Possibly Related Posts.
