WordPress.com Blog Stuck On "Private."

  I got one answer from a WordPress Staffer who sent me the generic instructions on how to enter the “Reading” options and click on “Allow Search Engines, etc…” I followed this to the “T” but I am still getting a padlock icon in my nav bar that declares, “This Blog Is Private” or words to that effect and I cannot make the padlock icon go away.

  The strange thing is that some of my readers tell me they can see and read the blog without any problems at all and it is being shown in Google as being crawled and indexed.

  It is all so strange to me.
