  I am thinking about upgrading to a Business WordPress.com Plan. I cannot find more details about this kind of plan apart from the ones showed in https://wordpress.com/pricing/. Can you provide additional information so I can decide?

  Is there any kind of support provided by WordPress.com in terms of applying security patches, update plugins and so on? Or I will need to do it manually?

  Hi there –

  It sounds like you might be confusing the 2 different versions of WordPress. Any upgrades or plans that you use here at WordPress.com do not impact a self hosted WordPress site.

  Plugins, for example, are a feature only supported on the self hosted version of WordPress. With this version you are responsible for all site updates and fixes.
