WordPress.com Connectivity Issues

  One of our network providers had a problem during some planned maintenance. The problems they experienced caused us to lose internet connectivity to some of our key servers. We experienced a few minutes of downtime. We put WordPress.com in read-ony mode shortly after discovering the problem. Our provider reverted their changes, we’ve got our servers back, and have since restored write service. More details to come.

  Howdy,

  Sorry for the short disruption this evening. The cause of the outage is still being researched by our network provider, but for now, all maintenance has been postponed indefinitely until we can determine the root cause of tonight’s problems.
