  wordpress.com credits appear in my bill when I try to check out. This adds £36.17 to the cost of a premium theme.

  What are they as they appear to be a debt rather than a credit?

  That’s very weird! I have put this in front of the folks who handle the billing side of things here. As soon as I have additional information for you, I’ll let you know!

  Hi, any luck with the weird credits – I’d like to purchase a new theme but can’t with this payment adding itself to the checkout! Apologies for nagging but would like to get going with the design.

  Please, no apologies necessary. This is taking longer than I would have liked. I’ve been talking on and off with the developer involved with this all day. I’m going to go ahead and force them out for now, and if for some reason they’re supposed to be there I’ll put them back later.

  You should now be able to purchase the theme with no issues.
